London Installs Koil Binding Solution
CFI London have installed an in-house koil binding solution to offer an environmentally friendly alternative to wir-o-binding. Roy Carthew, Sales Director, states that "the demand for wir-o-binding has been increasing for some time now, which led us to bring this operation in-house several months ago. However, we always felt that we needed to look at more environmentally friendly options, which led us to koil binding. There are many benefits of this style of binding which appealed to us when we made our decision. It is much greener than wir-o as packaging of the raw koils is significantly reduced compared to wir-o, which also reduces the environmental cost of shipping and transportation of the materials. Other key benefits to us, however, were the increased speed of production and the durability of koil binding, which is virtually indestructible as the koils spring back into shape if crushed. Koil binding means that we can now offer our clients a unique and durable alternative to wir-o."
