Quality assurance is integral to Chris Fowler International’s ethos of complete client satisfaction. It is also integral to the way our organisation works. It is not just a statement or procedure but the way we manage our people and processes. This total quality management approach (TQM), combined with senior management commitment and focus, assures that we get things right and right first time.
TQM in Chris Fowler International hinges on the client interface with us. This interface, and the processes that support it, is critical. Underpinning this is full management commitment, effective communication of the quality message and the establishment of an environment where there is an absolute focus on quality.
To Chris Fowler International, quality is about ‘delighting the client’ by exceeding their expectations. We do this by fully understanding our clients’ unique expectations, continually re-appraising our understanding of them and measuring our success at satisfying them: our aim always being to exceed them.
Quality is a state of mind that is enthusiastically evident throughout Chris Fowler International. Nevertheless, all procedures are fully documented, trained in, and periodically refreshed. Checking occurs at every stage of production both by the operators and management. Failures, though rare, are investigated by management and remedial action taken; whether by process, procedural amendment or re-training. Senior management formally reviews any changes during their monthly meeting.
Whilst at an operational level quality is a key responsibility of line management, the onus for quality achievement rests with each and every team member. Quality is the responsibility of all employees in all departments. Every individual is responsible not only for the quality of what they do, but to check and assure the work undertaken by others before them and to assist in improving quality in all areas of our business.
The systems we work to incorporate the essential elements for effective Quality Assurance as set out in ISO 9002: 1994. We believe that this approach to quality is significant in adding value to our clients.
